Our Stars
At Gregory Hall School, we appreciate students’ effort, achievement and dedication. This page celebrates their hard work, growth and confidence. We are very proud of them and are happy to be a part of their journey. We look forward to seeing how far they can go. Their hard work can inspire others to aim for the stars.
If you work hard too you can be on our wall of super stars. See you next term.
Vika
Student of the year
As we have looked back over our past school year, a lot of students have improved and gave it their all. However, there is one student in particular that has grown and worked hard and epitomises everything we try to instil in our students. 12 months ago Vika was a very different girl. She tried hard and she was the youngest in her classes. In fact, she has always been the youngest wanting to reach the older kids’ levels. At the beginning of the year, this wasn’t really working as she wanted it to but at some point what we were teaching clicked for her. So as well as doing what we taught she started to go that extra mile and as she took things on board her level skyrocketed.
As the school year ended, Vika went from trying to achieving. This award is testament to Vika’s commitment to her lessons and if she carries on this path it will lead to greater success.
Thank you, Vika! You’re a superstar and such a joy to have in our classes. We are looking forward to seeing more of your art projects. And of course to seeing more of the ‘magic’ that everybody finds so funny.
Mr and Mrs Gregory.
Yasna
Star of the summer
Yasna has only joined us a few months go. But from Day 1 we could see the potential. She always turns up to every lesson with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. And she takes this infectious attitude into her class. She is never short of an answer and loves exploring the language and is not afraid to ask questions and get the occasional thing wrong. We’re so proud of Yasna, a bright and cheerful young leader who works hard because she is new and it is not easy for beginners. But if she carries on as she has started, she will soon become one of the brightest we have. She always gives her best in class and tries hard. We look forward to seeing her in classes and with the kids we have like her, we can see that the development of our students is 100% on the right track.
Thank you Yasna. Keep shining.
Here’s some of her artwork that she sends to Mr Gregory. She does all that at home but always wants to share.
